New partnerships are new opportunities

First of all, let’s ask the question: What are partnerships good for? There are many advantages when two organizations become partners. For example, you can pool resources and work much more effectively, you can benefit from each other’s skills, you have a greater reach and so much more.

YOMOSCO is now 5 years old and we have come a long way. We have a team that is passionately invested and ready to support and empower the girls in our programs. We are now in the middle of a training program and the girls are motivated. We knew that it is time to take the next step and start partnering with others.

We are currently trying to get partners on board who see and share the vision of YOMOSCO and help us to continue to develop. So we are happy to announce that we have signed our first partner contract with The Life Ministry Kenya.

The Life Ministry Kenya is an organization that has been in Kenya for over 50 years. The Life Ministry Kenya is an Interdenominational Christian organization. They do ministry through raising, multiplying disciples among high school and campus students, professionals and executives, church, organizational and political leaders. They do this mostly through trainings and discipleship. With this partnership, they enable us to be part of something big. They also support us in our spiritual development and with professional counseling for the girls. We are very grateful that this partnership has come about.

In order for the girls and the team to know who and what LMK actually is, we had the chance to attend one of their public prayer mornings. This also gave us the opportunity to introduce ourselves as YOMOSCO and establish initial links between the two organizations.

We are looking forward to a good partnership
